Sometimes you need someone to sit with you while you decide.

A personal naming session with Gracy Reid — the author of They Shall Be Called. Not a list generated for you, but a conversation that ends with a name you can say out loud without flinching.

    You tell us what you're hoping for

    A short written intake — what you long for this child, the names already circling, and anything that has to be honored: a grandmother, a language, a promise.

    The session

    Ninety minutes, just about your child

    A guided conversation. We work through meaning, scripture, sound and family weight together, and set aside the names that were never really yours.

  3. 03

    After

    A shortlist and a written summary

    A curated shortlist with the reasoning behind each name, the scriptures attached to them, and a written summary you can read again in six months.
